Mission Statement

Hello friends;

After years of waiting, we have decided to finally move back up to San Luis Obispo County and are on the hunt for two Special Education teaching positions.

We are hoping you can help us by keeping an ear to the ground and, perhaps, put us in contact with people and institutions that are looking for highly qualified Special Education teachers with years of success and experience under their belts; specifically in very challenging districts.

We both have clear Education Specialist credentials (I also have a cleared Single Subject Social Science credential) and Masters Degrees in Education. Tricia earned her masters from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and I from the University of La Verne satellite program located in SLO.

Tricia has been working at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School (PVPHS) for over seven years. PVPHS is a top performing, nationally ranked school with an API score of 907. She is a department lead and has
extensive experience leading high profile IEP meetings.

I have been working at a continuation school in Hawthorne, California. My students often come to me
in-lieu of expulsion, released from incarceration, and are often dealing with very difficult home lives.

While the student populations we deal with could not be more different, a common thread runs between my wife and I…we are some of the best in the district! We are counted on to solve problems, help high profile students and successfully manage every changing and challenging caseload. We are the “go to” case carriers; our work ethic and professional dedication has earned us a great deal of success, as well as respect, and we are proud of our efforts.

We have always desired to return to the central coast where we began our careers, and now, with two children of our own in tow, we are excited about the opportunity to give back to the community in which we want to raise our children.

Please let us know if you run across any opportunities that would fit our skill sets and feel free to pass this email along to who ever you feel could help us.

Thank you for your time.
